The second day of our stay in Berlin we focused on two parts of the city: first we explored the area around the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and in the afternoon the sights around Alexanderplatz kept us busy. After dusk I wandered around on my own, capturing the festive Christmas decoration around town.
Our choir Cantemus went on a short Christmas tour to Berlin in late December. We had two full days to explore this wonderful city, and while the day was short and it was freezing, I nonetheless tried to visit and capture as many sites as possible. On Day 1 we saw the Berlin Wall, Reichstag, Branderburg Gate, the Jewish Memorial, and many other places.
One early December Sunday Andrej and I drove to Pokljuka mainly to get some fresh air and maybe take a couple of pictures. Sunny morning quickly turned cloudy, which wasn't so bad as the ominous dark clouds made for some nice HDRs.
