Saturday was the most demanding day in terms of walking and sightseeing. Katka and I took the metro to Vyšehrad and then walked from there along and across Vltava all the way up to Petřín Park, where we explored an enormous dilapidated stadium, climbed the observation tower to admire the city from above and then crossed over to Hradčany and down to Vltava again to wait for the blue hour. |

Great Strahov Stadium (Velký strahovský stadion) is the second largest stadium in the world. It's no longer used for sports events, but the sheer enormity of the place is awe-inspiring. Capacity: 220.000 spectators!!!
