Mekinje is a village near Kamnik. The combination of yellow meadows and the beautiful backdrop of the Kamnik Alps made for a good photo op.

Šenturška gora is a hill close to my town, Kamnik. The starting point of this hike was Tunjice, a small village 5km from Kamnik. The hike was short, about two hours of moderate walking, and it took my friend Urška and me through forests to the top of Šenturška gora where there is a church and a graveyard. On the way back, the path led us past a few farms on the slopes of the hill until we reached Tunjice again.
