Sečovlje salt pans

2003-09-06-Secovlje-16-WE.jpg

Sečovlje salt pans are located near Portorož on the Slovenian coast. They used to be the biggest natural resource of salt in the area. Today this is a natural reserve and a tourist attraction. I didn't have much time here, and one hour is not enough to see and explore everything.

Climbing Triglav, the highest Slovenian mountain

T29-Triglav2-17.jpg

It was a warm September weekend, and my friend Nataša and I decided to go on a two-day hike in the Julian Alps. Our goal was Mt. Triglav, the highest Slovenian mountain at 2.864 meters above sea level. It was a beautiful hike, but too crowded if you ask me.
