On a sunny Sunday in early April my friend Kurty and I decided to visit the Piran Aquarium. It's small but quite impressive with many species. Taking photos wasn't easy with all the reflections. Afterwards we walked around town and to the nearby bay of Fiesa along the cliffs.

In April I'm rarely fed up with winter and instead of seeking out flowers and greenery, I decided to get some more snow before it is finally gone. I wanted altitude, snow and views, so Pokljuka peaks seemed a logical choice. Climbing Mrežce proved to be an excellent choice and the moody weather provided some dramatic vistas.

Another day on Krvavec. The sky exhibited some bizarre-looking streaky clouds in the morning but they cleared by 10 a.m. and everybody could enjoy a sunny, yet cold day on the ski pistes.
