I spotted a couple of boats in the distance...

and watched them come nearer...
|
|
they were close enough that I could see the rowers...
|
|
a few seconds later they reached the bridge I was standing on...
|
|
after they were gone, they left behind a rippled lake surface and a distorted reflection.
