After a two-hour ascend from Lake Bohinj we arrived at the Komna hut at 1520 meters above sea level. We just caught the last sun rays washing over the surrounding mountains.644 views

The biggest structure lacked the roof - and everything else, for that matter. There are only bare walls left. But the building is huge!562 views

From the top of Mali Bogatin we could see the trail that we had taken early in the morning.499 views

On this trail there was some kind of grass that was blooming and the air was filled with pollen. As we both have allergies, we started to sneeze and snivel like crazy.444 views

Descending the steep, dwarf-pine-covered slopes towards Planina Govnjač was a bit tiresome, but the occasional view made up for it. More ruins in the distance at Planina Govnjač on the right.442 views

After a few turns there is a hollow with remains of former Italian barracks and checkpoints built in the 1930s. Definitely an impressive sight!387 views
