| Kamniski vrh on a cloudy evening |
Mt. Kamniski vrh used to be one of my favorite short hikes. It's just high enough for a quick training climb and the views from the top are great - weather permitting, of course. On July 1, it was very humid and for a moment my friend Manca and I even thought we were going to get soaked by rain. After a few minutes at the top we hurried by to the valley, just making it before the dark fell. |

This bench on the ridge below the summit offers great views and is a great pit stop before the final stretch of the climb.

We could hardly make out the town of Kamnik not that many kilometers to the south.
